40 Members from the Made in the Midlands family joined the final virtual Breakfast Morning before the start of Backing Britain Live today, with Platinum members the Hayley Group Limited, and Craig Bastable taking the lead.
During the 2 hour Virtual meeting, which started at 9:00 am, members were able to network, introduce themselves to the Midlands Family, and learn more about the Hayley Group and what their plans are for the Backing Britain Live Exhibition.
Once all the members had arrived, Craig Bastable, the Groups Marketing Manager presented the guest with a presentation about the company, providing them with insight into their operations, their growth plans as well as how they’re taking part in Backing Britain.
Founded in 1976, the Hayley Group is the UK’s fastest-growing engineering inventory supplier, with branches nationwide working with the trade, OEM and aftermarket industries.
The group was initially established in 1976 under the name Hayley Bearings Ltd and, as the name implies, they specialised in bearing sales. Over the years, the company has grown to the point where it now has over 40 branches in the UK and one in the Czech Republic.
After the presentation, members had the chance to network in smaller groups and get to know each other on a more intimate level for 15 minutes across two sessions. Networking and sharing best practice is vital within the manufacturing community and gives business leaders a chance to ask for advice through challenging times.
