Made in Group Set Target of 3,000 Attendees at Backing Britain 3.0

Made in Group have set the target of engaging with 3,000 people through the digital aspect of Backing Britain 3.0, and then a further 300 people over the course of the live, “in-person events”.

Taking the digital aspect to the next level from previous ventures, the exhibition will include two halls. The first of which will be called “Backing Britain” - promoting your business to thousands of manufacturing exhibitors and your fellow members. Then, continuing Made in Group’s mission to support UK careers and skills, there will also be a “Made Futures” hall.

Ultimately, this three day exhibition will allow for members to return to the in-person, “real life” physical events that we’ve all missed over the course of the pandemic, whilst still maintaining some productivity-boosting and digital marketing elements of “virtual”.

The Made in Group team has already begun work on a brand new virtual manufacturing directory - featuring 3D walk-arounds of machines, products and even entire factories Through using Matterport cameras and technology, this will allow people to visit members’ premises using 360° immersive features and (optionally) VR headsets.

As you may have seen through the likes of online walkarounds of venues and virtual house-tours, Matterport cameras allow for someone to click and walk around a venue; which makes it the perfect sales tool for our members to showcase a particular product, machine, or even a large segment of their entire factory.

These stands will provide an effective sales and business development tool for members of Made in Group, as they will be able to direct people to find out more about their business through this stand. Made in Group have launched this project as a way of supporting members in business growth, within a new era of digital work which this pandemic has accelerated.

To set up this 3D facility tour which will be available on all expo stands, Made in Group are offering all Gold/Silver members the opportunity for a trained member of our team to visit their premises and scan part of their facility for the 3D element of the exhibition.

To arrange your factory visit as a Gold/Silver member - or to enquire about upgrading to this membership level or joining the group - get in touch with a member of the Made in Group team today.
