Backing Britain 3.0, a “hybrid” exhibition of in-person events and virtual stands, is set to reduce the environmental impact compared to Made in Group’s previous expos, whilst still maintaining the much-needed social elements of in-person events.
The expo portion of Backing Britain 3.0 will be held entirely online, featuring three fringe events throughout the Midlands and Yorkshire, giving both Made in the Midlands and Made in Yorkshire members the chance to connect
This three day exhibition will allow for members to return to the in-person, “real life” physical events that we’ve all missed over the course of the pandemic, whilst still maintaining some productivity-boosting and digital marketing elements of “virtual”. There will also be two keynote speakers at every event; an industry professional and celebrity speaker.
These three locations have been handpicked, as they allow for the most number of members possible to be able to attend at least one venue, whilst not needing to travel too far. Therefore, this “Backing Britain 3.0 Expo” aims to far reduce the environmental impact which has been seen in previous exhibitions.
Fantastic venues in Wolverhampton, Derby and Leeds will host members of the Made in Group on three concurrent days, allowing them to network and socialise with great food and drink. Simultaneously, the digital aspect will allow for members to host virtual stands, in which they can promote their company’s products and services online.
Taking the digital aspect to the next level, the exhibition will include two halls. The first of which will be called “Backing Britain” - promoting your business to thousands of manufacturing exhibitors and your fellow members.
Then, continuing Made in Group’s mission to support UK careers and skills, the “Made Futures” will allow members to promote business as an employer of choice to an array of students, graduates and job seekers.
