Made in Group are striving to provide all of the features, benefits and perks of a physical exhibition, through the upcoming virtual expo - Backing Britain Live 2020.
Backing Britain Live 2020 is a two week business festival run by the Made in Group. Launched in 2009, Made in Group is a private manufacturing network for the UK, which now contains 600 UK manufacturers ranging from the likes of Jaguar Land Rover, Liberty, Atlas Copco, Moog, Mazak, Siemens, Fanuc, etc.
This groundbreaking event will include keynote speeches from industry leaders such as CEO of Gardner Aerospace Dominic Cartwright and CCO of Brompton Bicycle Stephen Loftus, alongside networking areas and over 150 manufacturing exhibitors. Our aim is to promote, inspire and share best practice within UK manufacturing.
The Made in Group team have been working remotely due to social distancing measures and have enjoyed many virtual social team meets during this time. The likes of Friday Night Drinks and Virtual Pub Quiz nights have been a regular part of our routine and therefore, we felt the need to extend this tradition out to the rest of the membership group for our upcoming virtual expo.
"Happy Hour" will take place daily 3-4pm throughout the course of Backing Britain Live 2020.
See who is around at the Backing Britain coffee meet up, grab a beer from your own fridge (or take a coffee or soft drink, if it’s still too early), take a seat behind your screen and mingle with the exhibitors and delegates to the Backing Britain event. The Backing Britain zoom coffee lounge will open its virtual doors on Monday 17th August, after the opening ceremony and keynote speaker. Every week day of the exhibition from the 17th to the 27th August you are welcome to join our daily virtual happy hour from 3pm-4pm daily.
