What Is Made in Group's Microsite "Supercharge" Campaign?

One of Made in Group's biggest aims is to support our members in maintaining operations digitally, safely and effectively wherever possible.

Regardless of whether it is for the immediate future or they are simply using their enforced downtime to research for future investment, many customers are still interested in what services and products your business offers. This is why we are currently rolling out a campaign to review the content of all our members' microsites and optimise them accordingly.

Whilst the current situation may well have accelerated industry operations going digital - this was an inevitable future which some firms have future-proofed for far better than others. The digitalisation of industry has been encroaching for years; an early 2019 study found that internet sales accounted for 11.5% of B2B sales and The Acquity Group State of B2B Procurement study, published in 2014, also found that 94% of B2B buyers always conduct some form of online research before purchasing a business product.

Ultimately, perhaps now more than ever, digital operations play a vital role in both business development and a company's overall brand strategy. Regardless of their previous outlook on the importance of online operations and digital brand strategy, we aim to give our members the tool they need to succeed online in the current climate by "supercharging" their Made in Group microsite

For many members, simply creating a “micro” version of your company homepage is the most common strategy used in regards to creating their microsite. However, in order to maximise engagement, we advise our members to refine their content appeal more specifically to the Made in Group network or their specific goals from the membership.

The more temporal and easily changeable nature of microsites, compared to company homepages, make them a great platform for exploring new opportunities and advertising specific services to targeted audiences within a safe environment.
