On 11th October 2022, The Made in Group will take a trip to Westminster to champion manufacturing at the House of Lords.  Here's why you don’t want to miss this groundbreaking opportunity.

Made in Group, including Made in the Midlands and Made in Yorkshire - trade association supporting the manufacturing and engineering industries, plan to make an annual trip to the House of Lords as of this October.

The unmissable launch event taking place near the end of this year will include a chance to walk around parliament and networking in the Terrace Pavillion, witha view of the iconic River Thames. The members who attend the trip will also have the chance to hear from Made in Group Directors Jason Pitt and Charles Addison as well as Chairman Lord Mike Whitby on key issues within the organisation and future plans.

What makes this trip particularly unique is the chance for members to share real manufacturing statistics with politicians. Data taken from the Made in Group survey on ‘Sustainable Manufacturing’, which is soon to be sent out to members of the Made in Group, will be used in a report which will be posted through pigeon holes at Westminster.

Sign up to the event here, £100 per delegate. We are prioritising members based on activity on the platform so please get busy posting your news stories and attending Made in events.
