The Made in Group has entered its fourth season supporting the Walsall FC community programme.

Jason Pitt, Made in Group director, had the pleasure of being invited by Adam Davy, Community Director, to say a few words ahead of the Walsall V Northampton match.

Jason said, "We are a manufacturing community of more than 500 members in the Midlands and Yorkshire. We exist to share experiences, support our sector and unite British industry. We also believe that communities up and down the country all play this essential role in making Britain great; communities are the social glue that holds society together. So, whatever community or tribe you belong to, you are contributing positively if you're participating in your community.

"Walsall FC is a fantastic community first and foremost; like many sports teams, it's more than just a club. The club is essential to the community, engaging and inspiring people locally. I wish the team every success in tonight's match against Northampton."

Made in the Midlands concluded the evening by presenting Emmanuel Monthe with the man of the match award for his excellent efforts in helping the team maintain their narrow lead over their league two rivals.

The match finished with Walsall beating Northampton Town to break 11 games without a win.

Jason added, "Hopefully, Made in the Midlands was a lucky omen for the club today, and I look forward to seeing them climb the table."

Made in Group sponsors the community programme via their Made Equal and Made Futures campaigns, which aim to promote engineering jobs to a broader audience.
